Thank you for a amazing stay, the cottage and setting are idyllic. We enjoyed one of the many superb walks around Benar and the Machno valley. The situation of the cottage is fantastic, as it was close to everywhere we wanted to visit. Felt extremely welcome and homely and would definitely come back.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend spent at Benar Cottages. Absolutely superb accommodation and outstanding location. Fabulous walks on the doorstep. Perfect for our 2 small dogs. Wha and what wonderful views to wake up to! What a find !…. will definately be back.

We stayed in Little Benar and it’s by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. The cottage is very comfortable and spotless and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. Excellent place to just get away from it all (the garden, stream and waterfall are idyllic) or use as a base for exploring, lovely owners. Absolutely perfect holiday, will definitely be back.

We just love Snowdonia. Been coming for the last 10 years and find new places every time. Done lots of walking in all weather. Cottage is amazing, clean and felt very much “at home”. Love the sheep every morning on the drive, great fun. Although we usually do stay somewhere different every time we return, I feel we will be back again to this beautiful area and cottage. Thanks.

mod cons! Far better than a group of mountain bikers would normally get. Great location for all the local trails. We will be back again in the Autumn.
What a beautiful place to stay. The location and views are spectacular and the cottage warm and well equipped. The owners are friendly and helpful with advice on where to walk or eat. We had no rain during our stay which was not long enough to visit all the sites

Our 3rd visit back to Benar Cottages, we have now stayed in all 3 and they are all perfect. It is such an idyllic location, so quiet and the views are breath taking. You start to unwind and relax within half an hour of arriving, the only downside is that you dont want to go !

We arrived at 9.40pm Friday 6th January 2012 and the landlady was very helpful. The heating had been turned on for us so it was nice and warm when we arrived. The cottage was lovely, all nice and clean and we even had some complimentary welsh cakes We have two dogs and went for a walk on Saturday through the town (Penmachno) and up onto the woodland road. Five hours of walking really knackers you out lol. The dogs loved the walk and so did we, but we were in bed for 10pm!! The bed was comfy and the cooking facilities were beltin. All round great weekend. Would definatly recommend for couples and small families
What an enchanting, delightful cottage in a beautiful and very central location. We had lovely walks in the woods above the cottage and for the dogs the beaches at Harlech and Rhyl were second to none. Will highly recommend Benar – well done Nigel & Geraldine.
Wow! what a wonderful week. The cottage is perfect, the location and views are stunning. We loved spending evenings sitting outside on the patio, watching the buzzards, bats and listening to the babbling brook and tawny owls.

Amazing week away. Puppy had an exciting week. Managed 3 long walks in the mountains. Hired mountain bikes and cycled bike routes from the cottage. The views from every angle are stunning, nice to be so close to the village to go out for dinner. We will be back. Thank you
Had a wonderful week. The view is wonderful – feed the birds, there’s lots to see. The cottage is sweet and comfortable. It is a peaceful place here, the only thing – we are sorry we didnt book longer. We didnt want to go home. Hope everyone who follows finds a really wonderful place just as we did.
